As someone that came from a diverse upbringing, Thuraya offers a nonjudgmental viewpoint and support to people from various ages, sexual orientations, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and worldviews. Thuraya provides therapeutic services for a range of matters including dating & relationships, self-esteem, boundaries, core values & identity exploration, sex therapy & sexuality (all age groups), men’s & women’s issues, anxiety, depression, and grief. She also enjoys working with family/cultural systems, those looking to enhance their quality of life and successful professionals/athletes struggling at home.

One of Thuraya’s strengths as a therapist is becoming acquainted with her clients’ therapeutic demands and merging them to evidence-based approaches such as person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and goal-focused therapy. It is essential for Thuraya that her clients feel at ease throughout the counseling process and she takes pride in providing a setting that encourages safety, transparency, and empathy.
