Orlando Teen Self Esteem Anxiety Coping Support Therapy Group Avalon Park
Our teens face unique challenges today. They are constantly bombarded with images from social media (and media in general) that send the message that they aren’t good enough the way they are. They may feel inadequate, overwhelmed, disconnected or lost, and they may feel helpless to get out of it. Perhaps, they are isolating, chronically angry, or melancholy. Maybe they’re being bullied or rejected by their peers. Or maybe there have been significant changes at home, and they just don’t want to talk about it, but you know something is wrong.
Parents can feel powerless to help their teens cope with these issues. Our teen groups are designed to help by providing a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere for teens to explore, share, heal, grow and connect, …all while having fun!

She understands the challenges that individuals face in trying to balance work and family, while trying to maintain a peaceful home and emotionally connected marriage. Having experienced the divorce of her parents at an early age, Dr. Leslie remains committed to assisting couples in navigating the divorce process in a way that best meets the needs of their children.
